In the report from ScreenRant, Isabelle’s death, portrayed by French actress Clémence Poésy, is described as a major shock. It notes that her connection with Laurent, as well as her developing relationship with Daryl, could have added a captivating dynamic to the third season.
In the third episode of the second season, Isabelle confessed her love for Daryl, solidifying her as one of the most important characters in the franchise. Yet, with her death, Daryl once again missed out on a chance at a happy ending.
The second season, titled The Book of Carol and consisting of six episodes, premiered on September 29. The spin-off, helmed by David Zabel, has already been renewed for a third season, with filming currently underway in Spain, covering locations such as Madrid, Galicia, Aragon, Catalonia, and Valencia.
